The Bob Woodruff Foundation is proud to partner with American Heroes Channel on Salute to Sacrifice, a new weekly programming block dedicated to honoring those who selflessly defend our freedom.

Each week from Memorial Day through the Fourth of July weekend, American Heroes Channel will dedicate a Sunday morning to a different topic and veteran organization.

American Heroes Channel hopes to provide viewers an opportunity to access resources and to help support organizations like the Bob Woodruff Foundation and to bring military issues for both current active duty service members, as well as veterans, to the forefront.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation was introduced to viewers June 7, in a short segment with Bob Woodruff, ABC News correspondent.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation was co-founded in 2006 by Bob and his family after he sustained serious injuries while covering the war in Iraq. Their experiences inspired them to help make sure our nation’s injured heroes have access to the high level of support and resources they deserve, for as long as they need them.

Beyond the segment, a public service announcement will be shown throughout the week, and information about the Bob Woodruff Foundation has been posted online.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation is one of seven organizations selected for the Salute to Service. Others include the American Legion, Got Your 6, IAVA, Team Rubicon, USO, and VFW. To learn more, visit Salute to Sacrifice online.
