Paralyzed Marine walks again, cheered on by twin boys
On 1/13, World News Tonight’s David Muir shared an inspiring update on Marine Captain Derek Herrera. Paralyzed from the chest down by a bullet in Afghanistan, he used an exoskeleton to walk across the stage at the 8th Annual Stand Up for Heroes, bringing the audience to its feet. Now he’s taking his first steps in front of his 4-year-old twin boys!
