The Bob Woodruff Foundation held its annual Spring Reception in our nation’s capitol, at the St. Regis Hotel, April 27. Hosted by foundation cofounder Lee Woodruff, in partnership with the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the event brought leaders together from both sides of the aisle to focus on the needs of our military and its veterans. The Bob Woodruff Foundation has much to be proud of as it reflects on the year that was 2016. Beyond celebrating its namesake’s 10th Alive Day in January, and the 10th annual Stand Up for Heroes last month, the foundation has awarded more than $4.4 million to veteran-serving nonprofits across the country.
