The Bob Woodruff Foundation Names Suni P. Harford as Board Chair and Welcomes Accomplished Leaders to Board of Directors
The Bob Woodruff Foundation announces the appointment of Suni P. Harford, former President of UBS Asset Management, as the new Board Chair, along with the addition of three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors: United States Army General Robert B. “Abe” Abrams (Retired); Ralph Andretta, President and CEO, Bread Financial; and Gary Shedlin, Vice Chairman, BlackRock.

Craig Newmark is a Web pioneer, philanthropist, and leading advocate. Most commonly known for founding the online classified ads service craigslist, Newmark works to support and connect people and drive broad civic engagement. In 2016, he founded Craig Newmark Philanthropies to advance people and grassroots organizations that are “getting stuff done” in areas that include trustworthy journalism & the information ecosystem, voter protection, women in technology, and veterans & military families. National Football League (NFL)
Since 2018, the NFL and BWF have made a measurable impact in the lives of more than 577,600 veterans, service members, their families, and caregivers. Together the NFL, BWF and MoveUnited launched the USA Wheelchair Football League, now with nine teams nationwide. As we move forward, we will work with the NFL and our boots on the ground partners and grantees to shape solutions and fund impactful programs that best meet the needs of veterans today, tomorrow, and over the horizon. Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS)
Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) honors former and currently military personnel by facilitating career and business opportunities in corporations across the US. The Bob Woodruff Foundation serves as VOWs’ strategic charity partner. Through educational initiatives, mentoring, military outreach, employee affinity groups, and an annual conference, VOWS promotes career development, support, and retention of veterans throughout the global financial services industry. State of Qatar
In 2018, the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the State of Qatar established a partnership to support Texas Gulf Coast veterans and their families who were impacted by Hurricane Harvey. BWF began issuing grants through this partnership in 2019, and then adjusted our granting strategy for 2020 to ensure that our grantees were positioned to continue providing critical services while protecting the health and safety of their staff and participants during COVID-19.

HCS Foundation
The HCS FOUNDATION was established in 1959 in Cleveland by Harold C. Schott. The foundation limits its giving to Ohio and supports health organizations, cultural institutions, education, and services for the handicapped. HCS is proud to support the Stand Up for Hereos event.

Car Donation Foundation Vehicles For Veterans is a nonprofit vehicle donation program dedicated to providing funding that will help to build better lives for all of our nation’s veterans and their families. The Vehicles For Veterans program supports disabled veterans and other causes for our nation’s veterans.
