Assessing and Improving Community Support for Veterans
The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) manages the largest national nongovernmental network of organizations and stakeholders supporting veterans’ wellness. We support our growing network of 100+ BWF local partners through a combination of original programming, shared best practices, regular meeting and learning opportunities and a collective commitment to building capacity for veteran support locally.
This white paper describes individual assessments that were distributed to our local partner network. We developed and published this analysis and discussion guide to highlight ways in which communities are effectively collaborating to serve veterans and their families, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
This paper offers valuable information to guide stakeholders, funders, policymakers, and local leaders in how to target support and resources for cross-sector collaboration to better support America’s veterans.
We invite you to please read and share these findings.
