Hope For The Warriors
Family Resiliency Services
Location: National
Issue Area: Rehabilitation and Recovery
Hope For The Warriors’ Family Resiliency Services supports service members, veterans, and military families struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI), by providing referrals, admissions assistance, travel assistance, financial support, and family counseling. Hope For the Warriors targets these efforts to the most-severely injured population and coordinates with the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure complementary, rather than duplicative, services. This program helps those severely wounded veterans engage and remain in critical treatment programs, by facilitating and addressing life’s challenges that would otherwise present barriers to treatment. The Bob Woodruff Foundation is proud to fund two Hope For The Warriors Family Resiliency Services social workers, as well as direct financial assistance to veterans and their families.
