On 10/21 the VA will host The Last Roll Call Ceremony of Remembrance at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center at 11am EST. For more information contact Philip Gill at [email protected] or (718) 584-9000 Ext. 6759 or 5445.
Caring for Veterans at the end of their lives is a great honor. The US Department of Veterans Affairs health care professionals find meaning and take pride in providing this care. We are there to support the patient and their family and loved ones around the time of death. When our patients die, we feel the loss and grieve as well. The Last Roll Call Ceremony of Remembrance is a memorial service which honors the lives of those who have “borne the battle.”
