The Wall That Heals will finally arrive in New York City. In the lead up to its arrival in Flushing Meadows Corona Park it will receive a Motorcycle Escort on the afternoon of September 26th from Staten Island to its final destination. If you are interested in joining the escort or have questions, reach out to [email protected].

The Wall That Heals is a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. and mobile education center that will be coming to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queen this fall. The exhibit will be free and open to the public. The Wall That Heals honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces during the Vietnam War.

The exhibit is a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., spanning 375 feet and measuring 7.5 feet at its apex. Over 58,000 names are inscribed on the wall with over 4,000 from New York State--including more than 1,700 hailing from New York City.

We are also seeking volunteers to help with visitor services and other aspects of the exhibition. If you are interested in volunteering, please click the corresponding button below to sign-up.
