Greece, N.Y. — A military couple from Greece will celebrate their child’s first birthday on September 11th. They will also be celebrating the journey they have been on.
Crystal and Ash Engert met at Fort Knox while serving in the Army, and they say a lot has happened since.
They got married in 2014, Ash transitioned, and they had Addie.
They knew they always wanted to started a family, so they spoke with their doctor and the best option for them was to save up for a sperm donor.
