Disabled Sports USA Launches Wheelchair Football League During 2020 NFL Draft

Disabled Sports USA is launching the first ever Wheelchair Football League, thanks to a National Football League-Bob Woodruff Foundation Healthy Lifestyles and Creating Community (HLCC) grant. During the NFL Draft, April 23-25, a wheelchair football athlete will participate in making a team pick, marking the first milestone of many to come thanks to the NFL’s support of the Wheelchair Football League and DSUSA. NFL family donates more than $35M for COVID-19 relief

The National Football League announced today that in collaboration with the National Football League Players Association, clubs, owners and players, more than $35 million has been donated to date, including $3.4 million from the NFL Foundation as part of the COVID-19 relief efforts.
