On 11/2 Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) and BlackRock will host the Annual Veterans on Wall Street Symposium at 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. For more information contact Emilee Gates, [email protected], (765) 228-1341, or click the link below.
Military veterans, spouses and corporate hiring managers are invited to attend the Annual Veterans on Wall Street Symposium on November 2, 2023, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET in New York City.
BlackRock is our host for the Symposium.
Our Symposiums convene leading thinkers and stakeholders to discuss veteran and military spouse support and retention in civilian careers.
Registrants will hear from top officials and industry leaders who will discuss the importance of military cultural competency and retention of veterans in the workforce. The event will feature a discussion on supporting those who continue to serve as Reservists and military spouses, and workshops to help veterans and hiring managers translate military skills to civilian workplace demands.
Our Symposiums encourage organizations to collaborate, and to develop and share recruiting and retention best practices.

Each year the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center comes together to celebrate Veterans Day by honoring those impacting the lives of Connecticut veterans. We also use this as an opportunity to raise funds to provide free legal services for veterans who are in recovery from homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse.
The 14th Annual Saluting Service will take place at the historic New Haven Lawn Club. You will have the opportunity to connect, network, and celebrate with other leaders from the legal, business, philanthropic, and veteran and service member communities.
This year, we are proud to be honoring:
CAPT. CELINE A. FINN AWARD: Dr. Jason DeViva, Co-director of the PTSD Clinical Team and a PTSD mentor for the New England region Veterans Integrated Service Network
FOUNDERS AWARD: Cindy Johnson, NVLSP Attorney and former Deputy Director of Connecticut Veterans Legal Center
VETERAN JUSTICE AWARD: Minority Veterans of America, a national leader in advocacy on behalf of minority and underrepresented veterans
