Promoting Veteran Recruiting Best Practices at 2022 VOWS Symposium

At our 12th annual Veterans On Wall Street (VOWS) Symposium on November 3, we focused on encouraging organizations to collaborate and develop best practices in veteran recruiting and retention. Our speakers—Suni Harford, Chris Perkins, Erika Irish Brown, Janie Mines, Edward Skyler, Deputy Secretary John Tien, and Bob Woodruff—highlighted the importance of military cultural competency and the retention of veterans in the workforce. We also organized workshops to help veterans and hiring managers translate military skills to civilian workplace demands.
