Building Connections and Community at Got Your 6 VetFest 2022

On July 9, 2022, the Bob Woodruff Foundation invited veterans, active service members, and military families to the first-ever Got Your 6 VetFest – a family-friendly day of food, games, and live music. Attendees enjoyed free performances by country artists Lee Ann Womack, Mickey Guyton, Tyler Rich, Conner Smith, and Kat & Alex.

“This event is all about connection and community: spending time with family, meeting new friends, enjoying some exceptional entertainment together, and connecting our heroes with resources and opportunities that can help them thrive after service,” said Anne Marie Dougherty, CEO of the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

Got Your 6 VetFest also introduced attendees to local organizations that are part of the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Got Your 6 Network. Through informational booths, guests were able to learn more about helpful resources and programs dedicated to supporting veterans and military families in the Nashville area.
