Summer Internship Program

BWF partners with, and provides funding to, community and national nonprofit programs that serve the post-9/11 military and veteran population.  Our emphasis is on maintaining expert knowledge of the gaps and challenges for the post-9/11 population, and ensuring that our funding and collaboration focuses on evidence-based interventions that ensure service members, veterans, families and caregivers will continue to thrive after military service.

This six-week paid internship will provide two selected post-9/11 student veterans with experience in the Foundation’s operations, to include charitable investments, communications, development, and finance.  Internships will begin June 3 and conclude July 12. These interns will be based in New York City.*

Each intern will have the opportunity to define and focus on an individual project, tailored to their professional aspirations, that they will present to the Foundation’s leadership at the conclusion of their internship.

Interns will be compensated at $24/hour for a total of six 30-hour weeks.
