Omar Bahar is the Development Officer at the Bob Woodruff Foundation. Prior to joining BWF in 2019, Omar was a Development Manager at New York Cares, NYC’s largest volunteer management organization. His career has been focused on the nonprofit sector, previously working for the Fort Tryon Park Trust, Afrika Tikkun USA, and the New York Academy of Medicine. Omar was born in New York but grew up overseas, living in Syria, Sri Lanka, Israel, and Pakistan. Omar received a BA in International Studies from Marymount Manhattan College and an MPA from Rutgers University.
