USA Wheelchair Football League
The Bob Woodruff Foundation, in partnership with the NFL, is proud to support the USA Wheelchair Football League, founded by our Got Your 6 Network member Move United.

With support from an NFL-Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) Salute to Service grant, Move United launched the first USA Wheelchair Football League for athletes with disabilities, including veterans. The Wheelchair Football League closely resembles NFL play style with adaptations that keep the game fast-paced and enjoyable for fans and players. In 2023, the Wheelchair Football League hosted their Championship Game; Kansas City and Los Angeles competed for the trophy on February 7 at Camelback Ranch outside Phoenix.
The League brings together highly trained coaches and competitive athletes in the world of adaptive sports, inspiring teamwork and resilience on and off the field. Since 2020, more than 400 individuals have participated in USA Wheelchair Football League programs. Today, the League has 11 teams in the following cities: Birmingham, Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Phoenix, and Tampa.
