About the Event:
The VOWS Miami chapter will be hosting a wVOWS (Women Veterans on Wall Street) event in partnership with Deloitte. This networking event will be a great opportunity to celebrate the brave women who have served our country and transitioned or are beginning the transition to corporate America.

Guests will hear from LtCol Duila Turner (USAF, Ret.) who helped establish US Southern Command’s Women, Peace, and Security Program, is a former Foreign Area Officer (FAO) for Latin America, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently. LtCol Turner is also a former meteorologist for the Air Force and Executive Officer (XO) to Ambassador Manes, the nominee for US Ambassador to Colombia. She began her military career as enlisted, and later commissioned. She has traveled all over Latin America and Caribbean, and is a Hispanic mother of two kids. She has a great story to share and will be touching on a range of topics including leadership, gender equity, and Veterans issues including transition, wellness.
