HBI PACT for Active Duty Service Members

Home Builders Institute (HBI), the national leader of career training in the building industry, will offer its award-winning Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) to soon-to-transition active duty military serving at the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Stewart, GA, and to unemployed and under-employed veterans in the Greater Savannah area. HBI students learn marketable skills through classroom instruction and real work experience on community service construction projects. Funding from the Bob Woodruff Foundation will help 50 transitioning service members to gain vocational skills that are easily translatable and sustainable in the civilian world.
