Thursday, March 18th from 6:00-7:00 PM ET via Zoom
All service members must go through a Department of Defense (DoD) standardized Finances for Transition class when they transition from military service through the mandatory Transition Assistance Program (TAP). However, the curriculum is the same for all members regardless of age, years of service, rank, or whether they are retiring or separating. The reality is that this “one size fits all” curriculum is often lacking the resources to assure an effective financial transition for servicemembers.

We will also identify how financial concerns differ depending on whether a member is retiring or separating and how to identify and address misconceptions about VA compensation.
