Beat the heat and join us August 3 - 6 on an exciting four-day canoe adventure on the Raquette River in Adirondack Park. Adirondack Park is a vast, 6 million acre Forever Wild Forest Preserve known for its many miles of rugged hiking trails and navigable waterways. We will spend four days and three nights traveling by canoe and camping at iconic Adirondack lean-tos. This trip has minimal portaging — where you carry your gear and canoe from one waterway to another or to avoid an obstacle — and is great for beginners who are looking to learn more about canoe camping.
