2021 VOWS Symposium

Are you a transitioning service member, veteran, or military spouse seeking a new career opportunity? Join us on November 4 & 5 for the 2021 VOWS Symposium!

This year’s VOWS Symposium (fully virtual + free) will offer two days of incredible content and networking opportunities focused on supporting and connecting our transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and corporate partners.

Highlights from our 2023 VOWS Symposium

Hundred of active duty, reserves, and veterans joined us for our 2023 VOWS Symposium, generously hosted in collaboration with BlackRock.

We brought together military and industry leaders to discuss veteran and military spouse support and retention in civilian careers. Speakers highlighted the importance of

  • understanding military cultural competence and retaining veterans in the workforce
  • supporting those who continue to serve as Reservists and military spouses and
  • translating military skills to civilian workplace demands.

The VOWS Symposium is an annual event. We look forward to seeing you in 2024.

Veterans Find Your Next Career

We’ve partnered with corporations nationwide to help veterans, transitioning service members and military family members find their next role. Through our career portal, you can build your resume, search for employment and access training.

And if you’re an employer looking for that perfect candidate, you can recruit through our site, too.

Whether you’re searching for work or recruiting for an open position, visit our career site where we can help with both – at no charge.

Honoring our Heroes

“We need to show our veterans that when they do come home, there’s a country here to help them. It’s important that we remember our veterans and their families,” shared Lee Woodruff at our 17th annual Stand Up for Heroes on November 6 at David Geffen Hall in New York City. In partnership with New York Comedy Festival and our presenting sponsor Bread Financial, that’s exactly what we did.
