Fighting veteran food insecurity
The Bob Woodruff Foundation, in collaboration with our craigstable partners and our Got Your 6 Network, invests solutions to end veteran food insecurity.

The $25 million Craig Newmark Philanthropies has devoted to combating food insecurity is directly supporting craigstable, an expanding network of organizations working together to address the issues of rising food security and hunger in America. The cohort of experts are collaborating to tackle a clear but complex challenge – how to feed hungry Americans now and how to build food security for every American in the long term.
The network, guided by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, includes DC Central Kitchen, FareStart, Feeding America, God’s Love We Deliver, and World Central Kitchen. Within this group, the Bob Woodruff Foundation is specifically working to address veteran food insecurity, ensuring veterans’ needs are represented in the ongoing national dialogues about food insecurity/foodscarcity, and integrating those efforts with ongoing food security efforts and analysis around the country.
